In response to Administration of Radio "The notice of starting children's channel," the provinces begin to start Children's Channel, which creats the professional way of children's program of mainland China. As of today, it provides many outstanding programs for the teen-agers, and enriches the lives of the majority of children, and it has become China's ideological and moral construction for the non-adults. China's children's television presents the vast scene of prosperity.However, there's another fact which can't be ignored. From running to micro-creation the provincial children's channels meet a lot of problems,such as, low satisfaction with the programme content, fuzzy positioning channel, capacity weak of channel income. The existence of these problems is a directly threat to the provincial children's survival and development. Once The State Administration of Radio has made a sample survey to the children in Guangzhou, Shenzhen, Guiyang , which showed that more than half the surveyed studnets are not satisfied. It indicates there's a great gap between the reality of The Children's Channel and children's programs and the expectations of the audience. This is the starting point for research papers.This paper will summarize the issues of China's Children's television channels from the short time of its birth and it will analyze the characteristics from the children's basic needs of physical and mental in different psychological period, which purpose is to provide the problem-solving proposals and countermeasures of children's television channel's further development.
