SAP Application Integration Research

This paper studies the SAP interface technology and analyzes the architecture of SAP RFC for JAVA. On this basis, this paper designs the SAP application integration framework and implements the design of application interface layer and application integration layer.1) Design a 4-layer SAP application integration framework, which is layered, loosely coupled, clearly structured.2) Design and implement RFC server, which listens the requests and snatches data from SAP system. This server supports synchronous communication and asynchronous communication. For the IDoc, RFC server provides the mechanism for the management of transactions;3) Design and implement RFC connector, which provides data access interface and supports Java applications to access SAP system. The connector provides direct connection and pool connection, with which it could save system resources and improve the efficiency. For BAPI and IDoc, the connector also provided mechanism for the management of transactions.4) Design message queues. To manage IDoc effectively, this paper designs message queues for both request module and events module.5) Design and implement the mapping rule between SAP data and XML. This paper analyzes the structure of BAPI and IDoc, design the mapping mechanism and simply implement it using JCO.The testing results prove that the program is valuable for SAP application integration projects.
