Research On Computer-Based Patient Record For The General Card System

With the wide application of the smart cards, the General Card System isappreciated more and more. Its application lies in that one card is in general useby adopting one center data management in a LAN or WAN. The General CardSystem is adopted in numerous professions. If we integrate the General Cardsystem into CPR it will be a high-tech project. It will coach IT and medicalresearch or apply and truly establish digital hospital of the core of patient of allaround HIS.As an application in medical field of management information system(MIS),hospital information system (HIS) lies in the third stage now, whichcharacteristic is that traditional hospital affairs combined with clinic information.Because computer-based patient record (CPR) is the start of clinic informationand the core of HIS, research on CPR becomes a key problem of study on HISand a key issue to establish digital hospital.In this paper, based on discussion of CPR the General Card system, such asits component and functions, research on outline design of CPR networkmanagement system is done, and CPR the General Card system informationsrorage way, database structure are discussed in detail. According to DICOMstandard, collection and show of DICOM images are solved. Medical informationquery strategy, achiving design, system safety design and arithmetic are alsopresented in this paper. Under the developping platform of Microsoft windows2000 professional in the client end, a example of CPR system for department ofmouth of No.4 hospital of harbin medical university that based on three-tiermodel of Client/Server are programmed with PowerBuild, it is composed ofpatient register, data collection, data processing, data output, data archiving andsafety control. It is concluded that the CPRS of mouth implements storagestrategy of data share, and that its characteristic is normative, reliable, safe and private, when it tested at clinic.
