Knowledge Sharing On Library

Since 1990's, the library is confronted with two big opportunity and challenge:first, the knowledge-base economy creation and development has great influence onhuman society. Knowledge is becoming one kind of the most important resource andfundamental productive factors. Knowledge changes industrial set-ups and people'ssocial life. The true problem of library is how to manage knowledge. Second, whennew technique application, especially in the enormous development of IT, changessociety's culture, the way of management and service is transformed in library. Library,as an organization for searching, classing, spreading and making use of informationresources, being confronted with the same rapid change of the economy environmentand environment of competition, its vicissitude depends on an ability to innovate. Tobe promoted development of society or survived for itself, the library all ought to scanthe environment, make its aims, lead into the knowledge management, build a realtime, open knowledge-sharing system. In sum, it is necessary for library to takeknowledge sharing into practice in era of knowledge-driven economy.Based on the knowledge sharing theory and experience of enterprise in homeand abroad and set off from the angle of knowledge management theory, this paperadopts three way to research the related problems and builds up a set of sharedknowledge method system. Through studying on the course and obstacle factorsof knowledge sharing inside library, it has sought the excitation measureovercoming the shared obstacle and has designed a library knowledge share systembased on WiKi in order to provides reference of theory and practice.The thesis divides into six parts: In the first section this thesis puts forewordlearning background and significance, the current research situation at home andabroad, content and innovative methods. In the second part the author discussedknowledge and their shared present situation mainly, such as current situation anddeveloping trend of sharing knowledge, knowledge-driven economy, knowledgeneed and the meaning and types of knowledge sharing. In the third part some basicissues related to knowledge sharing in library are discussed including the concept,characteristic and process. In the same time, the author points out the necessity toputting knowledge sharing into practice. In the forth part the author points out andanalyses the basic key elements and obstacle factors related knowledge sharing insidelibrary. Meanwhile the author makes some measures to resolve these obstacles. In thefifth part this thesis discusses in details how to construct the knowledge sharingsystem inside library from the technology. Finally the author makes a summary of thewhole thesis and points out the deficiencies and some issues to be discussed later.Based on theoretical analysis and practical studies the author generalizescomprehensively measures that would be adopted by library and establishes acomplete system of knowledge sharing. The objective of this project is to help libraryto generalize knowledge management, practice knowledge sharing.
