Research And Realization Of Report Designer Based On The United Element Platform

The commercial report software in current use is usually verycomplicated—to define report we need professionals, while thecommon users could only browse and query those well-defined reports. What's more, the project cost becomes rather high with so many products introducing a style of data warehouse to store data.In accordance with the Telecommunications Management Network (TMN) Specification, this paper makes requirements analysis, abstracts key models and discusses key technologies on the foundation of studying the United Ulement Platform and report subsystem developed by the ZTE Corporation. The important communication interface—F interface is described .We propose the interface design model of the web report designer based on analysis of the structure and composition of report model; and we put forward the construct chart of web report designer according to the requirements analysis; hereby we make detailed study of every function, and particularly analyze the main class of web report designer, the realization process and flow. Finally, we obtain a new web report designer based on the IE browser by using the technology of Javascript, JSP, and Java.The advantage of this new report designer lies in its web style. It greatly simplifies the defining process, and enables the common users to define their favorite reports through the visualization designer style. Most importantly, this newly designed report could be transmitted to any node in the Telecom net so as to meet the demand for Telecom network management.
