Gn And Implementation Of Enterprise-level Online Report Tool

In the growing popularity of e-commerce and automated management today, report as an indispensable part of business management, is the basic tool which can complete the basic service of business enterprise. In different enterprise management systems,they must integrate report management tool. In the past, most of system reporting tools were hard-coded by hand, or modified some open source reporting projects, or spent alot of money to buy a sophisticated reporting products. Therefore, the development of a tool as the complexity of enterprise-class online report designer is very necessary, this tool aims to provide an efficient and easy to use report design tool for the business, equipped with rich reports show output, fast and flexible reporting capabilities,user rights management, data access control, reporting, and query scheduling a series of interactive features to provide high performance and high efficiency, full reporting system applications and solutions for business users.Thesis topics are from real projects of China Great Wall Computer Software and Systems Software Company. The main purpose is to develop a new common reporting products, compatibility of old and new systems within the company and purpose as a separate plug-in tools for external release. The main products include report designer module, background analysis module and expression analysis modules. In the design and implementation process of the product,, there are three modules which author independently or participate in as follows:(1) Report Designer module covers the display of the toolbar, the display of the metadata tree, and the display of the report’s attribute bar. Especially complete the toolbar to modify the report’s style and content, dragging and dropping of the metadata tree’s nodes drag and the report’s dynamic show.(2) Report background parsing module covers the report importing, report saving, Excel format file importing and new blank report creating. Especially complete the data analysis and exchanging between background and front-end, making the background module with the designer module exchange data quickly and accurately, and report data to save and show reasonable(3) Report expression parsing module includes data stored expression,building grammar and parse tree and expand a variety of functions function. When the contents of the report contains the expression or function formula, a series of complex analytical and computational logic will be executed, and the results are returned to the correct operation report, to meet complex reports business needs.This report tool has released V1.0version for internal multiple project teams using,through the actual use of the test group and the project teams’feedback, this reporting tool effective in reducing the design time of table-like and computing ability and business logic have reached the business needs of mainstream reporting tools.
