As a storm sweeping over Chinese Mainland in 2005, Super Voice Girls becomes the hottest topic not only in our society, but also in journalism and communication circles for a long time. At present, lots of reports and papers both at home and abroad are focusing on the Super Voice Girls. But it seems that there are few theses which could analyze the phenomenon from academic perspective deeply and comprehensively. Based on the knowledge of journalism and communication, demotics, psychology and economics, this paper tries to anatomize and decode the phenomenon completely so as to find out some successful experiences as well as the shortcomings of Super Voice Girls, and probe into the significance of Super Voice Girls for the further development of TV program in China.This paper takes the study in an in-depth method. In the first chapter, it macroscopically analyzes the social background of Super Voice Girls, reviews the evolution of TV entertainment programs in China and microcosmically analyzes the Hunan Satellite TV Station' s brand power and innovative spirit. In the second chapter, introducing the Super Voice Girls program in details, it explains the successful factors from economic, sociological, cultural and artistic perspectives. In the third chapter, it studies the successful factors such as content, marketing, media, audience and the kin program comparison with positive and negative effects of this program. In the final chapter, after showing some inspiration of Super Voice Girls to the development of TV program in China, this paper makes a perspective judgment and analysis for the future of Super Voice Girls.
