CTT has pushed forward its information construction as well as its business development. However, because many MIS systems are founded in different period or in different technologies, there are lots of heterogeneous data sources in CTT information system unavoidably, which are isolated from each other and can not share their data as easily as we have expected. These bring so many difficulties when leaders want to make a decision based on several departments'information. This is the phenomenon called"Information Islands". This paper is to figure out a solution of this contradiction which between the need of information share and"Information Islands"inside of the corporation. We bring forward a solution to realize the information share inside CTT based on researches of advanced technologies and the CTT real situation, which is a middle platform to realize distributed heterogeneous data exchange. The platform that we called heterogeneous data exchange platform is an information-independent system, which works in an asynchronous communication way and uses standard interface definition. It plays a role as a bridge among each MIS system. This paper contains four major parts. Firstly, it introduces where and why this research project comes. Secondly, we discuss J2EE, JMS and XML in detail, and then find out their advantages and disadvantages. Thirdly, the integrated design is illuminated. Finally, we bring out a feasible scheme to put the design in real use.The information exchange platform was implemented and delivered. During the trial of running, it performs well and achieves all requirements.
