The Construction And Application Of The Historical Cyber Resource(Material)

The design model of MVC (model view-controller) and the application of struts framework, which are aimed to enormously simplify the developing process of Web, have raised the developing efficiency and thus shortened the developing cycle and, in particular, are specially adapted for the large-sized and ever expanding web. In the 1980s', it was designed and programmed by Xerox PARC for Smalltalk-80 for the purpose of programming language and since then, this model has been used widely. In addition, the construction and application of the Historical Cyber Resource (raw material) is based upon the model under this study.This paper aims to take this model as a case study to simplify the developing process, to raise the efficiency and to show how it has been easily maintained and expanded. Meanwhile, this study also has tried to explore the following functions such as adding, editing, deleting, index-searching and storing large-sized database.The design model of MVC is featured with great expanding capacity, which can function as follows:1. A pattern with multiple views realized;2. Application of multiple controllers adopted;3. All the views equipped with the automatic devices as the model altering;4.
