With the development of plastic, it plays more and more important role in our production and life. Correspondingly, molding improves quickly. The scale expansion also means new demand to management, and old production management obviously not suitable to the large production. The informationization of management was vivid, and the goal was manage with information, without paper, and avoid errors.Traditional production procedure totally depends on human operations, thus exists lots of shortcomings during production, such as product and time loss caused by negligence and slow information collection. Every part of production is tightly connected to each other, any negligence is forbidden. At the same time, it is molding conditions that play most important role during production, so if they are not managed efficiently, production might have be delayed at critical times. What's more, it would be related to enterprise image etc. With the information technologies today, it is easy and simple to save and manage information using computers. The new wireless network enables operations just besides the injection molding machines using PDAs that connect to the server. Thus the Informationalization level is improved, and this accord with the factory's benefit. In this article, I first research the shortcomings of traditional production procedure. Then put forward the necessity and advantages of Informationalization of production. Demonstrate how to combine the whole procedure (from order to finish production) together, and then manage the most important information. Avoid the errors during production, thus make advantage of the traditional procedure. Make use of the modern information techniques, and ensure stable, high efficient production.
