With the development of communication technology, Ad-hoc networks are used more and more widely in this world. Networks are heading toward the direction of becoming large. How to design a kind of Routing Protocol which is able to support large scale Ad-hoc networks is a challenging task. In this paper, the Ad-hoc networks and the existing Routing Protocols for Ad-hoc networks are introduced. Then, FAZRP (Fisheye Adaptive Routing Protocol) is proposed for the large scale Ad-hoc networks. Simulations of the proposed routing protocols are done by OPNET Modeler. , The simulation results show that the proposed FAZRP outperforms the traditional ZRP (zone Routing Protocol) in delay and overhead. Also, the network coding technology is used to improve the performance of FAZRP. By using the M/M/1 Model of the Queue Theory, we show that the throughput of the networks increases and the output queue length and delay decrease by adopting the network coding technology.
