The development of the battery industry requires a higher level of quality control and services, and the monitor the batteries'charge-and-discharge process is needed by the battery industry. In the charge-and-discharge workshop, more than 4,000 batteries are under charging or discharging at the same time. And the field condition of the workshop is harsh and complex, which put forward higher requirements for the large scale organization wireless sensor network.How to maintain or even optimize the overall energy consumption and the communication efficiency of the large-scale wireless sensor network while the traditional contracts factors, such as node bandwidth and energy celling, still has not been fundamentally saluted is a hot topic of current research. In this thesis, we analysis and research the large scale wireless sensor network from the MAC protocol perspective, the main responsibilities are:(1) The software and hardware plan of the large-scale battery charge and discharge system and its requirements for wireless sensor network is introduced. Then, the basic theories of large-scale wireless sensor network and the classic MAC protocols and their disadvantages are analyzed in depth. And three solutions of large-scale organized wireless sensor network:network decomposition, node information classification and anti-congestion mechanism are pointed out in this thesis.(2) The event-driven application model and the period-sampling application model are existed in the large-scale battery charge and discharge monitor system at the same time. The A-Sift Protocol which aimed at transmission event-driven applications and the ABDC-MAC Protocol which based tree topology and period-sampling application are purposed.Transmission event-driven applications require the data integrity, and its access nodes and data are dynamic change. A-Sift, which based on Sift Protocol, introduced a node priority classification and global statistics and schedule mechanisms to solve the data of event central nodes loss and the dynamic changes of channel flow.The tree topology always has the problems about node energy and transmission efficiency. ABDC-MAC Protocol raised a decomposition and coordination mechanism for large-scale wireless sensor network. It decomposed the network according to the route information, and used a suitable node access algorithm to increase the adaptability to the large-scale organized topology.(3) Purposed a new MAC Protocol based network decomposition and production information classification called HBDS-MAC Protocol (Hybrid MAC Protocol Based on Network Decomposition and Services) for the large-scale battery charge and discharge monitor system. It built a 3 layers tree topology according to the devices framework, and classified the nodes priority by the product information to fulfill the latency and integrity of different data. The HBDS-MAC Protocol has a good performance on the large-scale battery charge and discharge monitor system.This thesis researched the MAC protocol for large-scale wireless sensor network and its application on the large-scale battery charge and discharge monitor system. The thesis purposed different mechanisms by different application model, and improved the adaptability of the traditional MAC protocol for large-scale wireless sensor network on their functions and performances. And this paper still purposed a MAC protocol for industry application, it have meaningful values in the engineering applications.
