Research On The Positioning System Of Martial Equipment

At the present time, the technology of satellite positioning system in our country mainly makes use of the Global Positioning System of American. Because the GPS can be used no matter where or when, no matter what weather it is, and has high precision, the technology of GPS has widened and developed in martial and civil field. The position system of martial equipment is an independent positioning system. It uses the GPS to achieve the position of the equipment. At the same time, it combines with the Geography Information System, which has the battlefield electronic map and mostly martial electronic map, to offer the navigation information to the driver. Above all, the basic principle of GPS,the origin and the analyse of error are presented; all kinds of positioning mode is analyzed; the existing GPS receptor and the output data format have been studied. Next, the base knowledge of the Universal Serial Bus has been discussed; the protocol of USB and the driver of USB device in Windows have been explained. And then, the electronic map and the way of coordinate diversion in matching map have also been studied. At last, based on all above, present and design a method of both hardware and software of martial positioning system, and realize it. In this system, has finished the design of USB interface circuit, which meet the need of plug and play; realized the recieving and proceesing of GPS position data; presented a predigested diversion arithmetic from GPS coordinate to real coordinate on map.
