Research On Interaction And Media Culture Meaning Of IPTV

In the background of digital and network, IPTV remains not only the visual, vivid andflexible representation characteristic of TV, but also interactive characteristic of acquisitionaccording to need of Internet. It is a new form of transmission with the two media'sadvantages. It will develop a platform integrated with internet, multimedia andcommunications, provide an extended servings space for people.The thesis is aimed at studying the new medium——IPTV, discusses the interactiveforms, existent problems and countermeasures of IPTV programs with examples, uses forreference correlative criticism, from the visual angle of transmission culture and popularculture, explains the media culture meaning of IPTV, discusses the technical support andexistent problems of IPTV development in the future, in order to impulse it to develop better. The thesis is composed of four parts:The first part summarizes four aspects of IPTV, including the development status,definition and primary form, operations and characteristics, in order to have a whole cognitionof it.The second part studies the interaction of IPTV programs with examples, discusses theinteractive forms, existent problems, countermeasures and meaning and effect of interaction.The third part discusses renovation for transmission culture and impact on popularculture of this new medium——IPTV on the whole.The fourth part discusses IPTV development in the future from two aspects: technicalsupport and existent problems.
