With more and more widely used of the Orientation System, the technique of passiveacoustic detecting has been the important developmental direction. Based on the study of twokey technique , array orientation and time delay detecting ,this paper mainly sets up thesoftware part for data processing and the hardware part for data transmission, which mainlyincludes the wireless transmission module.Firstly the development of the passive acoustic detecting system and the study status in quoin the world are discussed. And by discussing the need of passive acoustic detecting study,this paper introduces the theory knowledge about the system of passive acoustic detecting.Next the two key technique, array orientation and time delay detecting , are particularly studied,and a pinpoint math model is calculated, programmed and validated. By validating thearithmetic, the result of math model arithmetic is accurate and the math model has gooduniversality. In addition, by discussing all kinds of time delay arithmetic, correlativearithmetic programs has been compiled and ameliorated. That makes the programsbecome the part of data processing.In the end, hardware is set up and the wireless transmission module is the hardcorepart, which can transmit dada in the remote place. In conclusion, the system studied in thispaper can become the base for other special passive acoustic orientation systems, such asthe unattended anti-tank and anti-helicopter weapon system. Besides, the data processing is bythe computer, so all programs are programmed in the Matlab software.
