As a paid information distribution means, advertisement is closely linked with the development of the media. Comparing with the modern multimedia, traditional publishing forms of advertisement has lagged behind with the development of the multimedia technology .The multimedia technology applied to media advertising machine system makes the advertising bid farewell to relying only on paper-based media still spread era. Multimedia advertisement has become a new advertisement style of the communication between business and consumers and displaying self-image.The thesis makes a meaningful attempt to establish the model of a self-service multimedia advertisement release system, in which self-upload, payment and automatically displaying are integrated in the system and users can upload and display advertisement by clicking, touching, sliding and other simple operation. The system supports throwing-coin self-service based on the type and size of the uploaded file and the show time. Using mobile storage media, users can upload multimedia advertisement to special equipment. System supports media formats such as documents, images, videos and others. According to the user-tailored content, system will show the advertisement which has been uploaded after being audited by the administrator, realizing the interaction between the system and users and automatically display.The technology of the multimedia advertising self-service system belongs to an embedded application platform. Java language is used to set up the server, making background management and providing related services interface for the page to be called. At the same time, AJAX, network programming applications and Flash, a multimedia interactive technology are used to achieve the interaction features. The thesis focuses on platform design of the hardware system of interactive multimedia advertising machine and building software platform. Hardware platform describes in detail configurations and options of computers, LCD and the function of the cabinet. External equipment supports throwing-coin self-service. Software platform is based on Linux operating system, combining network, storage devices and related hardware interface devices into one so as to achieve multitask development. Their applications include self-upload, automatically playing, management audited by the software administrator. And the UI interface design of optimization of each system module is processed. The design concept of "User-centric" is throughout the entire software product development from beginning to end.Finally, the advertisement issuing system, user experience and business processes are tested. According to the test, the system has good stability, feasibility, maintainability to meet the requirement of the project. Compatibility of the upload-file function module, file management and modify of the effect of the main interface are also added in the test to improve the practicality of the platform. At the same time, development interfaces are reserved in order to facilitate the future development and improve the system scalability.The main research work and results of the thesis include:1. It presents new ideas on the aspect of combining the model of advertisement issuing with application of the multimedia and designs an application mode of the self-service multimedia advertisement release system.2. Hardware environment is designed and built, including the configurations and options of computers, display modules, external devices and module of paid and throwing coin, realizing the drive of the various hardware components.3. The design makes software architecture of the system come true. Software platform is based on Linux operating system, describing respectively the way of charge and the drive of coin selector and update of the multimedia advertisement and the function of background management by using Internet4. Three modules of the application are realized including self-upload, automatically displaying, management audited by the software administrator.5. Java language is used to set up the server, make background management and provide related services interface for the page to be called. At the same time, AJAX which is network programming applications and Flash which is multimedia interactive technology are used to achieve many practical functions.6. It achieves UI interface design of each system module.According to requirements and design, the hardware system environment of the application program and the software application program are tested, realizing the objectives needs of the project. The self-service multimedia advertisement release system can provide a convenient channel to promote products for various industries. At the same time, it provides consumers with convenience to learn about advertisement information and business practices in time. Consequently, it has broad application prospects.
