With the development of microelectronic technology, the request to electronic devices is increasing significantly. The plug-in board and inserts box which can make the equipment adapt the standardization and the building block electric circuit are parts of an electronic case. They not only make the equipment more flexible and full use of the space but also make it easy to protect and maintain . However, the plug-in board and inserts box together with the case may have vibration and impact when they are used. Therefore, dynamics analysis on the plug-in board and inserts box may build a good foundation for the later design.This article firstly made a brief introduction of the significance to make structure analysis on the plug-in board and inserts box. Then introduced the structure of the common used plug-in board and inserts box and the principle for the model simplify.Based on this principle, the model of the typical plug-in board and inserts box had been established using Pro/E.This article finally made the structure dynamics analysis on the typical plug-in board and inserts box. It made a comprehensive introduction to the structure analysis theory and the finite element emulation technique and then the modal analysis, the random vibration analysis, the harmonic response analysis and the shock response analysis were carried out on the finite element model of the typical plug-in board and insertes box in Ansys Workbench. Finally, the analysis of the simulation results were made.
