However, in the marvelous current domestic market, the technology is relatively backward. With the rapid development of animation industry, the audience's appreciation and aesthetic have been improved. They also have higher expectations and demands to the domestic three-dimensional animation.3DS MAX is one of the mainstream software in making 3D animations. It has the open system, its internal script, the language MAXScript is powerful. It can not only call for all operations within 3DS MAX, but also develop the script plug-ins to integrated 3D creativity and technology to achieve the effect that the traditional one can't achieve. It shows a new animation in the world to the users. It can not only provide better animation quality, but also give the users a wider space in the creative. The users can complete the senior complex design process with 3D vector, matrix, and four-dimensional algebra, etc..Based on the research of MAXScript scripting and the need of the "Interactive 3D animation software system and its application of marine" project, this paper developed ocean animation production plug-ins with the scripting language. This system's functions are as follows:1.Generated ocean surface in the scene. According to user's needs, it can adjust the sea waves, wind direction, wind speed and details of degrees and other parameters to achieve different effects. It can also add a background scene and the sea fog effect to increase the sense of reality;2.Generated undersea scenes, including the seabed topography, underwater space, undersea elements (plants, rocks, coral), and light, bubbles, etc., and adds real-time rendering window, you can see the effect of the production process in real time.Ocean animation production plug-ins was used in the animation of "Small turtles roam the underwater world". Because the story of the play almost occurred in the bottom or near the coast, using the three-dimensional animation make plug-in to make the play scenes not only cut down the production time but also improve production efficiency.
