Experience Of Treating Radiation Proctitis With Spleen Cooling Blood And Study On The Law Of Syndrome Differentiation

Purpose:To summarize clinical experience for invigorating spleen and cooling blood used by supervisor to treat radioactive rectitis,and sum up TCM clinical treatment methods and regularity of prescription in terms of TCM syndrome and differentiation treatment for radioactive rectitis through literature research.Material and method:Arrange supervisors’ clinical cases for treating radioactive ectitis,and analyze clinical efficacy and regularity of prescription and then summarize ideas for clinical diagnosis and treatment and medication experience.Additionally retrieve CNKI and Wanfang database,sort out relevant contents related to TCM treatment for radioactive rectitis,and emphasize on analyzing current TCM syndrome and differentiation treatment and regularity of prescription.Results: 1.Radioactive rectitis is exogeneous fire-heat and pathogen Qi which is mainly accumulation of heat-toxicity,consumption Qi and injuring the Yin,and impairing the stomach and the spleen as basic mechanism.Strengthening the spleen and blood-cooling therapy is the basic treatment of radiation enteritis. The main natural herbs for treating syndrome of heat-toxicity in interior with the function of heat-clearing and detoxifying and cooling blood and stop bleeding is burnet, sophorae, pulsatilla, patrinia.Deficiency of the spleen and stomach syndrome should be treated with Sijunzi decoction plus or minus some herbs.Avoid overusing warm-tonifying herbs.2.Research results for 135 literature reviews screened out which invovled therapy and formula showed that treating clinically radioactive rectitis was mainly about clearing heat,cooling blood and stopping blood,supplementing deficiency and regulating Qi.The common classical prescriptions are Baitouweng decoction,Gegenqinlian decoction and Shenlingbaizhu powder.The common natural herbs are Fuling,Huanglian,Baitouweng,Diyu,Huaihua and Bauzhu etc.Conclusion:Radioactive rectitis is exogeneous fire-heat and pathogen Qi which is mainly accumulation of heat-toxicity,consumption Qi and injuring the Yin,and impairing the stomach and the spleen as basic mechanism.Study on diagnosis and treatment regu larity of literature reviews demonstrate that invigorating spleen and cooling blood are t he basic treatment methods of treating radioactive rectitis.
