A Systematic Review Of The Treatment Of Menorrhagia By Traditional Chinese Medicine Cycle Therapy

Purpose: To evaluate the efficacy and safety of Traditional Chinese medicine cycle therapy in the treatment of hypomenorrhea, promote the popularization and use of Chinese herbal medicine cycle therapy in the treatment of hypomenorrhea. Materials and methods: using the method of evidence-based medicine, according to the literature of the inclusion criteria and exclusion criteria search strategies, retrieval of Chongqing VIP database(VIP), Chinese biomedical journal literature database(CBM), Chinese journal full text database(CNKI), Wanfang database and Pub Med database electronic database, retrieval on Chinese Medicine staging therapy in the treatment of hypomenorrhea randomized or semi randomized clinical study, screening of literature retrieval and on into the literature of method for quality evaluation and risk assessment bias, using Revman5.3(software provided by the Cochrane Collaboration) by meta analysis.Results:1.According to the inclusion criteria and exclusion criteria, 17 randomized controlled trials were included, 1246 hypomenorrhea patients were included in the study.2.Meta analysis shows:(1) the total efficiency, cycle therapy with Chinese traditional medicine and other therapy in the treatment of hypomenorrhea total efficiency comparison, after the merger OR value for 4.03, 95% confidence interval 95% are [2.96, 5.47], diamond is located in the right of themiddle line, the Z test. Z=8.90, P < 0.0001, show that TCM periodic therapy in the treatment of hypomenorrhea in total efficiency is higher than Western medicine, TCM Patent Prescription or simple oral medicine group, the difference is statistically significant.(2) Endometrial thickness improved: cycle therapy with Chinese traditional medicine treatment of hypomenorrhea compared to the control group in the endometrium improvement has a significant advantage.Conclusion: TCM cycle therapy in the treatment of hypomenorrhea has advantage than simple oral administration of traditional Chinese medicine, TCM Patent Prescription or western medicine in total efficiency, endometrial thickness, menstrual quantity improvement (P < 0.05), but due to the limited number of included literature, literature effect decision standard is not unified, and the collection of literature methods quality is low, so the argument strength is weak, is expected to have high quality, randomized clinical trials with large sample, cycle therapy with Chinese traditional medicine in the treatment of hypomenorrhea provide scholars in the nation and abroad for a reliable clinical basis.
