Design And Implementation Of University Equipment Management Information System Based On B/S Model

With the rapid development of Internet and maturity of database technology, the architecture of management information system extends from C/S model to B/S model. The paper points out some disadvantage and shortage of the existing system, and explains the necessary and urgency to establish new equipment management information system in advanced technology. The paper refers to present advanced models of large equipment management system and builds up running platform based on WEB.The paper is based on equipment management of university. Integrating process flow of equipment management, the system function architecture and network frame are designed, the policy of network security are also put foreword to meet the need of safe and stable running. Additionally, the key technology mainly applied by system building is introduced.The paper emphasizes on discussion and research on system architecture and MVC design model. Applying of B/S model makes system to provide friendly graphic interface, better maintenance and platform independence. Using MVC design model ensures system to be security and extended.
