Nowadays, manufacturing industry is confronted with a fast changing age. Reducing investment, taking from human force cost and improving productivity becomes the main aim of the user. The request for fast processing speed and openness of PLC system preponderates over before. Now, the PLC system has integrated a hardware & software platform including real-time control, fault diagnosing, data analyzing, so the complexity and difficulty of these tasks increase rapidly, therefore, the requirement of PLC system for more functions is higher than before.To achieve these aims, new technology must be apply, and the hardware & software of PLC system must be improved on. For example, employing the Real Time Operating System, embedded high speed processor and the Industrial Ethernet, can integrate high speed performance and well openness into PLC system, and give an impulse to PLC system going for ahead.In this paper, we study the key techniques concerned in the designing of the new generation PLC system with open, high speed and stabilization character. The Industrial Ethernet, with its advantage of mature technology, begins to be applied in the field equipment network. Building a net platform with the Industrial Ethernet, can not only meet the request of high-speed data transmission between control stations, but also meet the request of network's openness. So after fully comprehending the technology of the Industial Ethernet, we put forward the designing idea and the develop process of applying the Industrial Ethernet into PLC system, and realize the communication between control station and remote communication station. To meet the request of control station for high-speed data transmission, we study two mature parallel bus models, MULTIBUS and STD bus, and we offer the designing idea of high-speed parallel bus used in control station, "FPBUS". After the test on its stabilization, we apply this technology in the new generation PLC system. Base on the request of control system for stabilization and guideline of applying easy, taking the advantage of embedded processor, such as, stabilization, cheapness, we use a lot of embedded processor, mirco processor and Real-Time Operationing System.Now, the new generation control system based on the Industrial Ethernet technology, high-speed parallel bus and embedded processor has passed the precision testing, EMC(electric-magnetic compatibility) testing, and has also achieved successful application in industrial field.
