The Research Of The Field Measurement And Control Device Based On The Industrial Ethernet

A field measurement and control device used in the industrial Ethernet control system was developed, in order to reduce the gap between the international leaders and instruments manufacturers in our country.Firstly, the industrial Ethernet control system was analyzed in details and a method to design the field measurement and control device used in the industrial Ethernet control system was brought out. Then a field device based on the Rabbit2000 microprocessor and the network control chip RTL8019AS, running under the real-time operating system μC/OS-II, was developed. This device accomplished the necessary supervisory and control tasks, as well as the TCP/IP communication based on a real-time operating system. It can act as a Web Server in the industrial Ethernet environment. With the realization of the HTTP protocol, it can modify the parameters used in the PID control, and realize the communication between the Java applet running in the web browser and an embedded web server, which offers friendly user interface for client. Experimental results show that the field device can realize the bi-directional data communication between Internet browser and the field device. The functions of remote supervision, control, diagnose and configuration are also inmplemented. This work is practical to the design and the development of the industrial Ethernet control device.
