The Imperial examination system was founded in the Sui Dynasty. It flourished in the Tang, Song and lived through Yuan and Ming Dynasty. Until the Qing dynasty, it was abolished. This system lasted nearly 1300 years. As an important means of official election in the long feudal society, it brought a profound effect on political, economic, and cultural fields of each period. You can feel a condensed feudal society. Rulers entrusted the imperial examination enormous utility and appealed to them to pursuit for it. As a consequence, they accepted the imperial examination voluntarily. The rulers of each dynasty think highly of the Enlightenment Education because it was the basis of the imperial examination. Since the Tang Dynasty, the imperial examination set specifical courses for children to learn the Enlightenment Education. But later it was extended in various forms.Ming and Qing Dynasties are the opportune period and a period of great prosperity in China's feudal society. And the Enlightenment Education of Ming and Qing was an agglomeration of the previous dynasties. The Imperial examination also tended to standardization and institutionalization during this period. In this case, the Enlightenment Education in Ming and Qing dynasties must clearly show the unique features of the imperial examination system. In fact, it was true. To paticipate the Imperial examination, many children started to receive the extensive knowledge and strict training for the examination writing training very early. During the process of the Enlightenment Education people created a series of adaptive teaching materials, from which we can find the shades of the imperial examination. Most educators of the Enlightenment Education also springed from the imperial examination. And they also educated a quantity of talents for the feudal society.and the standard by which the society measured the educators of the Enlightenment Education was the capacity in their Imperial examination.The study has three parts: introduction, body and conclusion.Introduction explains the concepts and defines the scope of the study, explains the significance of this theory and its practical issues, research present situation and research perspectives and methods. Body part is divided into four chapters. The first chapter briefly reviews the development of traditional Chinese Enlightenment Education and this provides sequence of ideas for the research of the development of the Enlightenment Education in Ming and Qing dynasties, including the installation of the specifical courses for children ,which shows the close relationship between the Imperial examination system and the Enlightenment Education. The second main chapter is about the teaching school for the Enlightenment Education in Ming and Qing dynasties. From multiple segments this chapter analyzes the orientation of the Imperial examination system, .such as reciting, reading and writing training for the examination. Chapter III lists several types of Ming Textbooks, trying to find the imperial penetration elements in preparation and use of the materials. Chapter IV describes the close relationship between the educators of the Enlightenment Education and the Imperial examination system. The whole article analyzes the new look produced by the influence that the Imperial examination system has on the Enlightenment Education.Summarizes gives a conclusion the influence that the Imperial examination system has on the Enlightenment Education in Ming and Qing dynasties. It analyzes the reasons and put forward views with reality, points out the lack of the research in this field and make prospects.
