Northern Song Dynasty of China's feudal society in transition, an important dynasty, which inherited the former on the basis of all aspects and achieve a certain result. Northern Song Dynasty have been a greater developmentin the political, economic, cultural and scientific technology, but the drawbacks of a larger in education, it mainly reflected in the contradiction between the school education and the Imperial Examination. The early Northern Song Dynasty weighted imperial examination system and lighted schools have become increasingly prominent, and even as an focus of social contradictions adjusted to change the social, political, and economic status of poor and weak . Therefore, some talented people in order to ease the contradiction between the schools, and vigorously advocate for education reform. The core of the reform is the establishment of official science ,to adjust the relationship between school education and the imperial examination system , turned personnel training and selection of change of the vicious circle of people into a virtuous circle.
