Network media is a new type of media after newspaper, broadcast and television. And it is called "the Fourth Media". The use of media causes great changes in terms of the production way in the society, lifestyle and thinking. According to the survey by China Internet Network Information Center, young web surfers have become the most significant groups of users. Besides, with the further development of internet, the number of young web surfers will be increased. Network media influence on youth is profound, especially on the value of youth. Values are the values of young teenagers on their lives in a variety of things, phenomena and understanding of their own value, evaluation, which decide to choose the most basic point of view holding that it dominates the life pursuit of young people, thinking and emotional way, leading the direction of development of young people on their growth and talent significantly. Through an overview of the network media and related issues, the impact of the formation of the values of young people and the corresponding analysis as well as the measures to strengthen the value education for young people in network media perspective, this paper will analyze the impact of the network on the values of young people as the fourth media, and through the survey data, propose that Internet media have positive and negative effects on the values of young people, and further give measures for thinking. School education should be reformed to improve family education, supervision by public opinion of Internet media should be strengthened and government regulation of network media should be enhanced, a favorable environment for several aspects of the network, and favorable environment for growth of young people should be created.
