As social economy rapidly developed and social competition was more violent, people paid more attention to health of occupational population. Some people had lifestyle diseases. Others had the subhealth state characterized by chronic fatigue and be excluded ills. Now the pathogeny of subhealth was unknown. The study about influence factors of subhealth was few. In study, the detection rates had remarkable difference. In hence, it is necessary to develop a large scale survey about subhealth prevalence state and relevant influence factors.[Objects] To learn subhealth prevalence status and relevant influence factors among civil servants and teachers of elementary and high schools in six provinces or city in china in order to provide the basis for formulating intervension strategies.[Methods] Questionnaires survey was conducted among civil servants and teachers aged 18 to 60 years from six provinces or city in China selected by multi-stage stratified cluster random sampling method. Database was established by use of epidata 3.1 software. Data were analyzed by SAS 9.3 statistics software.[Results] There were 6395 questionnaires distributed in total. There were 6268 valid questionnaires returned. Civil servants accounted for 50.05 percent, teachers accounted for 49.95 percent. Male and female accounted for 49.94 percent and 50.06 percent respectively. The average age was 38.25±9.89 years.Among 6268 respondents there were 1746 people suffering from disease, 3940 healthy people and 582 subhealthy people. Detection rate of subhealth was 9.29% in two populations. For 5422 respondents without related disease, the total score, physiology score, psychology score and social adjustment score of Chinese urban residents self-rating subhealth scale were 49.43±6.70,26.59±4.15,15.59±3.13 and 7.25±1.51 respectively. The total score and three dimensions of healthy population were all higher than those of subhealthy population (all p<0.01). The total score and three dimensions of civil servants were all higher than those of teachers (all p<0.01).In civil servants and teachers populations, there were common population distribution characteristics. The prevalence rate of subhealth among teachers was higher than that of civil servants. The prevalence rate of female was higher than male. The prevalence of population aged above 30 years old was higher than population aged 18 to 30 years old. The prevalence rate of population with junior college and undergraduate education levels was higher than population with lower-level education and lower than population with graduate diploma. With regard to marital status population of separating marriage had the highest prevalence rate of subhealth and the unmarried population had the lowest prevalence rate. As to household income per month, those that household income per month were below 1000 yuan had the highest prevalence rate than those whose household income per month were above 1000 yuan. These differences had statistic significance (all p<0.01)Influence factors anlysis were conducted among civil servants and teachers respectively. The influence factors of civil servants were age, body mass index index, climacteric symptom, depressed mood, anxiety mood, work intensity, sitting time, immunity, satisfaction degree of living condition, satisfaction degree of vocation, sleep. The influence factors of teachers were marital status, climacteric symptom, depressed mood, anxiety mood, work intensity, immunity, satisfaction degree of living condition, satisfaction degree of vocation.[Conclusion] Compared the results of this survey with results of survey in 2006, the detection rates of subhealth were in the proximity. The prevalence rate of subhealth among teachers was higher than civil servants. The survey entirely screen the influence factors of subhealth. The civil servants and teachers had the common influence factors and they had respective influence factors. The target-oriented measurements should be taken in different vocations.
