Objective The differences in the clinical efficacy between single-port access navel laparoscopic cholecystectomy and laparoscopic cholecystectomy were investigated to explore the feasibility of clinical application of transubilical single-port access laparoscopic cholecystectomy through class instruments. Methods 60 cases of gallbladder disease were treated by the same surgical group. The patients were randomly undergone transumbilical single-port laparoscopic(n= 30) and conventional laparoscopic cholecystectomy(n= 30). Except for single-hole method using 3 mm laparoscope, two methods utilized the same operation equipments. The operation time, blood loss, postoperative pain, postoperative complications, cost in hospital, and postoperative hospitalization time were compared. Results Both groups completed cholecystectomy, no conversion to open, no post-operative complications occurred. Compared with conventional group, Single-hole method presented longer operating time[(62.57±30.58)min vs (47.73±21.63)min,P<0.05], slightly more blood loss[(10.87±11.7)ml vs (8.0±4.55)ml,P>0.05], the remainder of the indicators no significant differences (P>0.05).Conclusion Single-hole miniature endoscopic cholecystectomy not only has the advantages of traditional LC, but also has a hidden, better cosmetic results and more minimally invasive.
