Clinical education is an important part of nursing education, during such an important process, clinical learning environment has an immeasurable impact on the nursing students'practice effectiveness. In such a special clinical social environment, however, nursing students are often faced with various pressures. The pressure is a very important factor affecting the life quality, so if the stress of nursing students is strong, the life quality of nursing students will decrease, and the study enthusiasm and interest will be greatly reduced accordingly, the formation of various clinical abilities will be affected as well, finally, the effectiveness of internship of nursing students will be decreased. In addition, clinical practice is a critical period for nursing students to form the good professional attitude, so the negative feeling during the clinical practice can seriously affect the formation of optimistic professional attitude and stability of professional ideas of nursing students, thereby affecting the professional orientation and the employment orientation of nursing students. Therefore, the establishment of good clinical learning environment is an important measure to reduce the negative feeling during clinical practice of nursing students, to promote the comprehensive ability of nursing students, and to train the correct concept of professional values and employment option of nursing students. It also is the key prerequisite to add the new blood to the nursing team and improve the overall quality of nursing care. This topic is designed to survey the current situation of clinical learning environment,the practical stress level,and the life quality of nursing students, as well as to reveal the relationship and interaction between this three aspects. The purpose is to provide scientific basis and references for taking the effective measures to control the adverse factors of clinical learning environment, and thus decreasing the stress level of nursing students, improving the quality of life of nursing students, finally, promoting the effective practice of nursing students,increasing the employment option of nursing students toward the nursing profession as well.This issue developed evaluation tools which include the evaluation scale about clinical learning environment,the evaluation scale about practical stress sources and level of nursing students,and the scale about life quality of nursing students mainly through methods of literature search,panel discussion,expert advice and so on, and used questionnaires to investigate nursing students from four general hospitals of Wuhan city who were got by convenient and cluster sampling methods. Data were recorded by double-entry method with software EpiData3.1, and analyzed with SPSS15.0 software. At last, this study used factor analysis,descriptive analysis,variance analysis,correlation analysis,regression analysis and other statistical methods to analyze data, and came to a conclusion as follows:1. evaluation of clinical learning environment from nursing students was general; nursing students were suffering moderate level of practical pressures; the life quality of nursing students was general.2. some variables of general information of nursing students affected the evaluation of nursing students on the clinical learning environment,the practical stress level,and the life quality of nursing students:(1) some variables, such as whether nursing students are an only child,the educational level of nursing students,whether nursing students chose the nursing major voluntarily,whether nursing students like nursing major now,and whether nursing students want to engage in clinical nursing work after graduation, made the score of clinical learning environment different significantly.(2) some variables, such as the personality of nursing students,the gender of nursing students,whether nursing students like nursing major now,and whether nursing students want to engage in clinical nursing work after graduation, made the score of practical stress level of nursing students different significantly.(3) some variables, such as the personality of nursing students,whether nursing students chose the nursing major voluntarily,whether nursing students like nursing major now,and whether nursing students want to engage in clinical nursing work after graduation, made the score of the life quality of nursing students different significantly.3. clinical learning environment was positively related to the practical stress level of nursing students, three factors of clinical learning environment, namely teaching method,organizational support and interpersonal relationship, could predict the practical stress level of nursing students significantly; the practical stress level of nursing students was negatively related to the life quality of nursing students, four factors of the practical pressure, namely patient care,work nature and content,employment and teaching management, could predict the life quality of nursing students significantly; clinical learning environment was positively related to the life quality of nursing students, six factors of clinical learning environment, namely teaching method,the quality of teachers,learning opportunities,interpersonal relationship,working atmosphere and organizational support, could predict the life quality of nursing students significantly.4. the pressure of nursing students in clinical practice played a mediating role in the process of affection of clinical learning environment on the life quality of nursing students.5. the study indicated that clinical learning environment need further improvement, especially should select teachers seriously, strengthen the training of teaching theories and teaching methods of teachers, stimulate the teachers'teaching consciousness and teaching passions, improve nurses'professional feelings, ease tensions in the relationship between nurses and patients, enhance the organizational supports and ensure adequate clinical learning opportunities for nursing students, in order to alleviate the pressure of nursing students, and improve nursing students'life quality.
