TCM Stroke Unit Model Based On Clinical Observation Of Ischemic Stroke Recovery

Objective:To investigate the pattern of Chinese medicine-based treatment of ischemic stroke patients advantages and characteristics of stroke. Method:it will be selected according to inclusion criteria,60 patients were randomized according to the method, divided into experimental and control group,group one is 30, group two is 30, for the experimental group were based in Western medicine to be in rehabilitation medicine on the basis of comprehensive rehabilitation therapy, the control group only be the basis of Western medicine rehabilitation, the patient into the group and after 1 month, respectively after 3 months follow-up rehabilitation assessment, including assessment of the U.S. National Institutes of Health Stroke Scale (NIHSS), modified Barthel Index (Barthel index) assessed table, Functional Independence Measure (FIM) scale, to record the general condition of patients. Results:(1) in patients with the general situation:income group between experimental and control groups in sex, age, no significant difference in composition (P>0.05), show that the experimental group and control group, the factors can be ruled out non-therapeutic can be considered comparable between the two groups. (2) treatment outcomes:After the rehabilitation medicine, the test group and control group of patients with neurological motor function score (NIHSS), activities of daily living score (BI), Functional Independence Measure score (FIM) score was significantly improvement, there was significant statistical significance, the P＜0.05; experimental group compared with the control group between the two groups, experimental group were NIHSS values, BI values and improvement of FIM scores were significantly higher than the control group were significantly of statistical significance, the P<0.05; Conclusion:(1) Traditional Chinese Medicine-based stroke unit and rehabilitation can significantly improve the recovery phase of ischemic stroke in patients with neurological motor function and daily living. (2) Chinese medicine and rehabilitation stroke unit based on ischemia stroke rehabilitation treatment of patients was better than the Western based rehabilitation treatment.
