Clinical Research Of Methods Which Can Tonify Qi And Remove Blood Stasis To Prevent Recurrence After Hormone On Treating Hysteromyoma

Objective:To evaluate the adventages of traditional Chinese medicine (TCM) on decreasing the recurrence of hysteromyoma and exploring a new conservative way to treat the disease.Methods:[1] Groups:Eighty patients with hysteromyoma who reach the diagnostic standard were divided randomly into two groups:test group(42 cases treated with TCM herbs and mifepristone Tablet) and control group(38 cases treated only with mifepristone Tablet).[2] Methods:Two groups took mifepristone 10mg orally before sleeping once every day and the course of treatment lasted for 3 months.The patients in test group took Qi Gui Xiao Zheng granules for 3 months based on the treatment of control group.Any correlative treatment (inclued herbs and surgery) was forbidden in control group.[3] Observation items:Ultrasound test,gynecological examination and relative symptoms were examined and the size of tumor and TCM symptoms scores were recorded when the patients had taken mifepristone for 3 months and stopped mifepristone 3 months later.The same things had been done when the patients stopped mifepristone 6 months later.Conclusion:[1] The total effective rate of the test group for 6 months was 92.11%.while that of the control group was 78.13%.The statistic difference between them was significant(P＜0.05).[2] The test group is effective on improving the clinical symptom was increased significantly and superior to the control one(P<0.05).[3] The relapse rate of the test group for 6 months was 7.89%,while that of the control group was 40.6%.The statistic difference between them was significant (P<0.05).Results:[1] The tumor size could be furthet reduced and the symptoms could be improved in the test group.[2] The symptoms such as weak lower back,dystention sensation for lower abdomen, dizziness. tiredness,palpitation.urinate more often or with greater urgency and abnormal menstrual property could be improved earier in the test group.[3] The test group did were effective in the recurrence of hysteromyoma.[4] Mifepristone Tablet combined with herbs whose function were strength qi and resolve blood stasis were safe in treating hysteromyoma and this method was worth of further research.
