The Effect Of Small Dose Mifepristone Combined With Xiao Liu Pill On The Recurrence Of Uterine Fibroids After Myomectomy

Objective: To investigate the effect of small dose mifepristone combined with Xiaoliu Pill on the recurrence of uterine fibroids after myomectomy.Methods: A Total of 219 patients with uterine fibroids undergoing myomectomy in The Fourth Clinical Medical College of Xinjiang Medical University from January 2019 to September 2020 were selected as research object.The age,educational level,allergy history,age of menarche,number of pregnancies,times of abortion,course of disease,combined gynecological diseases,laboratorial index,surgical approach,postoperative drug therapy,location and number of uterine fibroids,pathological type,residual number,preoperative and postoperative menstruatin in these patients were retrospectively analyzed.the effect of small dose mifepristone combined with Xiaoliu Pill after myomectomy on the recurrence of uterine fibroids and on the menstrual condition were analyzed.Results: Among 219 petients,recurrence was observed in 71 patients,the recurrence rate was 32.42%.The recurrence of uterine fibroids was not correlated with the age,educational level,allergy history,age of menarche,number of pregnancies,history of childbirth,times of abortion,course of disease,combined gynecological diseases,surgical approach,location and number of uterine fibroids,pathological type,residual number and laboratorial index(P>0.05);postoperative drug therapy was correlated with the recurrence(P<0.05)。Multivariate logistic regression analysis showed that the number of uterine fibroids and ostoperative drug therapy were positively correlated with recurrence of uterine fibroid(OR>1).The risk of recurrence in patients treated with small dose mifepristone combined with Xiaoliu Pill was 0.043 times higher than patients not treated with that.Conclusion :Number of uterine fibroids,postoperative drug therapy(low-dose mifepristone or gonadotrophin-releasing hormone agonist)were the most common symptoms of postoperative recurrence in patients with myoma.Posoperative oral administration of small dose mifepristone combined with Xiaoliu pill is a way of treatment that may reduce the recurrence rate of uterine fibroids to certain extent.
