Skeletal muscle atrophy often occur at unloading, immobilization, less exercise and so on. As a method to remedy muscle atrophy, vibration training is cause the attention of people increasingly. Because of high frequency and heavy load vibrate could excite muscle spindle selectively, people often choose high frequency vibration over 100Hz resist muscle atrophy. But organism will be damaged when frequency is tco high, and caused "vibration disease" for long time. Research indicates when frequency is less than 50Hz, muscle tension could be increased by suitable vibrational stimuli, and organism will not easy to be damaged by low frequency vibration, with safety operation. There were few reports about relation between vibration frequency lower than 50Hz and disused muscle atrophy.Objective:The present study use an animal model of disused SOL muscle atrophy and mATPase histochemical method, attempted to clarify effect of disused muscle by 30Hz vibration training on morphology, and provided morphological basis for low frequency vibration resist disused muscle atrophy.Methods:40 female SD rats were randomly divided into four groups: normal control group(C), hindlimb suspension group(HS), vibration training group (VT), and natural recovery after suspension control group (SC). Give VT group 30Hz vibrate training 4 weeks,10 min/time,2 time/day,15-minute intervals,6 times/week, last 4 weeks. HS group were sacrificed after 2 weeks suspension.the other three groups'soleus muscle were taken out on weeks of 4 after vibration training, weigh their wet weight and contrast wet weight to body weight. Made frozen section and stained with mATPase histochemistry under light microscope at 200 times, The cross-sectional area (CSA) of soleus muscle fibers, the relative proportion of typesâ… andâ…¡of frozen section of SOL were measured by semi-quantitative analysis. HS was decreased significantly, and the cross-sectional area of typeâ… andâ…¡was also reduced.Meanwihle, the proportion of typeâ… fibers was decreased and proportion of typeâ…¡b fibers was increased (P<0.05).(2)Compared with group HS.WW/BW of group VT and CSA of typeâ… andâ…¡were increased absolutely, the proportion of typeâ… was increased and proportion ofâ…¡b fibers was decreased (P<0.05). (3)Compared with group C, WW/BW of group VT and CSA of typeâ… andâ…¡, proportion of typeâ… ,â…¡a andâ…¡b have no significantly difference (P>0.05)Conclusion:The research shows on morphology that 30Hz low frequency vibrate training for four weeks could increase wet weight/body weight of soleus muscle, enlarged the CSA of muscle fibers, and promote proportion of typeâ… andâ…¡fibers recovery, so it could prevent disused muscle atrophy by suspension effectively. |
