Objectives To understand the neurosis patients families'mental health and influence factors; To analyze influence factors of the neurosis patients families'mental health; To explore the Taoist cognitive therapy 'intervention effect on the neurosis patients'families; Methods Research objects all came from Hunan Brain Hospital from September 2008 to December 2009, who were accorded with CCMD-3 neurosis diagnostic criteria and the patients' families were our research source. Voluntary applicants are screening by SCL-90 (total score more than 1.6 points or positive project number more than 43, or any one of the more than two points factor points),and 90 of them are selected to be our research objects. Random number table method is used to divide them into group and the control group. Assessment two groups with SCL-90 evaluation, LES, value system and coping way before intervention measures. The experimental group'objects were randomly divided into 5 little groups, each group with nine people. Taoist cognitive therapy (CTCP) standard procedures (ABCDE technology) was used to intervene the experimental group by collective psychotherapy or individual psychotherapy form, once a week, and lasting for eight weeks. The control group did usual health introduction and did not do scientific intervention. And premeasured all of the above indexes eight weeks later. Contrast the two groups before and after the controls. Results (1)SCL-90 total score:the experimental group,22.04±17.06; the contrast group,23.66±21.82.P=0.727, so comparison of the two groups was not statistically significant. Single factor analysis results show that gender, marriage, family structure, economic condition and the cultural degree are the influence factors of families' psychological status.(2) The neurosis patients families' life events scores:the experimental group,28.92±10.41; and the control group,28.25±11.24, P=0.690,so comparison of the two groups didn't have statistical significance. Single factor analysis results show that gender, age, marriage, occupation, the cultural degree, family structure, economic status and family life events are the influence factors.(3) The score of families' coping style:the experimental group,44±7.29 scoring, and the contrast group 21.06±6.52, P=0.126, so comparisons of the two groups was not statistically significant. Single factor analysis results show that gender, age, marriage, occupation, the cultural degree, economic status and family structure are the influence factors of family coping style. (4) Matching t-test results show that SCL-90 total score and each factor points dropped in a statistically significant way after the intervention (P<0.05). two sample t-test on the comparison of SCL-90 total between two groups and comparison among each factor show overall score and and each of the body change factor,obsessive-compulsion symptoms factor, sensitive interpersonal relationship factor, depression factor, and anxiety, hostile, mental symptom factor points among those objects are statistically significant (P<0.05)(5) Matching t-test results of the experimental group and the control group respectively before and after the intervention show that the score of life events and coping style dropped significantly, difference was statistically significant (P<0.05), however the value system score difference was not statistically significant.(6) Two sample t-test results of the experimental group and the control group show that life events and coping style score between the two groups were statistically significant. (P<0.05),each factor of coping style was statistically significant, the value systems core was not statistically significant (P=0.807).Conclusions (1) The mental health of neurosis patients families is not optimistic, and its influence factors include gender, marriage, family structure, economic condition and the cultural degree; etc. (2) Taoist cognitive therapy can improve the psychological health level of neurosis patients' families.(3) Taoist cognitive therapy can improve the coping style of neurosis patients' families to some extent.(4) Taoist cognitive therapy's influence on the values of neurosis patients' families is not obvious. |
