Expression And Significance Of 5-LOX And Survivin In Gallbladder Carcinoma

Objective Detemining the expression of 5-LOX and survivin. Analyze the expression of 5-LOX and survivin in gallbladder carcinoma and their relationship with clinical date. To elucidate the mechanisms for early diagnosis and clinical application.Methods The specimens were taken from32 patients with gallbladder carcinoma in An Hui Medical Afflicated Hospital from june 2006 to june 2009 Record the clicical date in detail. The expression of 5-LOX and survivin was assayed by Streptavidin-peroxidase immunohistochemistry in 32 gallbladder carcinomas and adjacent non-cancerous tissues,20 normal gallbladder tissue as control. Experimental date were analyzed together with the clinical pathological datum.Results The expression of 5-LOX and survivin in gallbladder carcinomas was significantly than adjacent non-cancerous tissues(P <0.05;P <0.05) and nomal control tissues,and there was significant difference between adjacent non-cancerous tissues and nomal control tissues(P =0.001;P =0.001).positive correlation were found between the expression of 5-LOX and survivin in gallbladder carcinomas and adjacent non-cancerous tissues(P <0.05;P <0.05).Conclusion 5-LOX and survivin play a important role in the formation of gallbladder carcinoma. There may be some extend coordinated function in the formation of gallbladder carcinoma.
