A Study Of Quality Of Life Of Preoperative And Postoperative Patients With Implantation Of Active Orbital Implant Caused By Ocular Trauma

Objective:The Score of quality of life was used to compare the change of the quality of life of different times before and after surgery. So that the sufferers' subjective attitudes could be reflected by it.This method was used to provided a reliable objective evidence for the clinical value and treatment of the operation of ocular prosthesis implant.In order to make the doctor choose a more effective treatment,time of operation which give us an advice to pay more attention set up the health aims (including physical, mental and social health).Methods:48 patients were investigated the status about the 2-days before surgery and 1-month,6-months after surgery with uniform questionnaire. SNK-q analysis was used to compare the change of the quality of life of different times before and after surgery.20 patients of matched group which didn't do the operation were investigated the status with the same questionnaire. SNK-q analysis was used to compare the change of the quality of life of the matched group in the corresponding time. Forward stepwise regression was used to screen the influencing factors.Results:The scores of quality of life of the operation group show that:its scores of 6-months after surgery were higher than that of 1-month;and its scores of 1-months after surgery were higher than that 2-days before surgery; In the matched group,there is no significantly difference of the score among the corresponding time. The analysis of forward stepwise regression indicated that marital status (single) (Bs=-9.835), profession(top managers) (Bs=-3.905), payment(responsible party) (Bs=8.981), payment(free medical service) (Bs=4.427),education (secondary) (Bs=3.905) are the five influence factors.Conclusions:Implantation of active orbital implant can not only improve the appearance of the eye but also improve the quality of life, The scores of the quality of life were gradually raised after surgery. We should pay attention to not only the physical treatment, but also the psychological treatment of the patients.
