Clinical Study On The Treatment Of Removing Pathogenic Heat From The Blood And Toxic Material From The Body On Chronic Severe Hepatitis B

Objective:To evaluate the effect of treatment of removing pathogenic heat from the blood and toxic material from the body on chronic severe hepatitis B, to provide a important proof of Evidence-Based Medicine for treatment of TCM on this disease.Methods:With the design methodology of randomized control trial, observing the condition change before and after treatment of the 63 cases of chronic severe hepatitis B patients, which were divided into treatment group by 37(extra TCM therapy expect the routine one)and control group(routine therapy)by 26 randomly in Beijing Ditan Hospital.Results:After 8 weeks treatment, the treatment group had significant differences on following areas(P<0.05):the time of resolving jaundice and raising PTA, the surviving time of death patients, the rate of improving TCM syndrome, and the general evaluation of TCM. In improving the ALT, AST, CHE, ALB, the control group had no significant difference (P>0.05). In the areas of reducing mortality and complications, the treatment group reflecting the initial advantage.Conclusion:Treatment of removing pathogenic heat from the blood and toxic material from the body on chronic severe hepatitis B is a important way, which takes into account both etiology and pathogenesis of Chinese medicine and modern medicine in the pathogenesis. Treat this disease with extra comprehensive TCM therapy expect the routine one has better results on resolving jaundice raising PTA,improving TCM Syndrome than routine western medical therapy.
