Objective:To evaluate the clinical efficacy of the TCM Integrated Programs of Chronic obstructive pulmonary disease with acute exacerbation of lung and spleen deficiency syndrome, play fully characteristics and advantagesof Chinese medicine; establishChinese medicinetreatment integrated programs of chronic obstructive pulmonary disease with acute exacerbation of lung and spleen deficiency syndrome.Methods:81Patient who were in Affiliated Hospitalof ChengduUniversity ofTraditional Chinese Medicine in January2013to January2014,diagnosed asacuteand chronicobstructive pulmonary diseaseexacerbationsfor the study, andmet the inclusioncriteria, and does not meet theexclusion were criteriatol:lrandomized controlledaccording to the principledivided into a control group and the treatment group for observation and treatment. Control group received basic western medicine treatment. Integrated traditional Chinese medicine group received basic western medicine treatment+TCM treatment. All the patients underwent continuous observations and fill in the questionnaire case forms. Determination of the efficacy: the integration of TCM symptoms and signs, WBC, neutrophil ratio, CRP, blood gas analysis, fecal flora proportion, Complement C3, Complement C4, prealbumin. To compare baseline data of enrolled patients, analyze the efficacy of two groups comparatively, observe the possible adversereactionsduring the treatment and UseSPSS21.Osoftware package to do the statistical analysis.Results:(1)Fatality rate:There is no statistical significant for the number of patients’ death by comparing the treatment of traditional Chinese medicine and Western medicine within14days.(2)the integration of TCM symptoms and signs:there are improvements for both Chinese medicine group and Western medicine group after14days treatment on reducing clinical symptoms and signs. However, basically, the result of Chinese medicine group is better than that of Western group. The comparison between them have the statistical significant as well as on the aspect of markedly effective rate. There is no statistical significant for the cure rate and total effective rate. In the aspect of single cough, loss of appetite and abnormal stool, the result of Chinese medicine and western medicine has significant improvements after7days and14days treatment. And the treatment effect of Chinese medicine is better than the Western medicine’s. The comparison has statistical significant.(3)Inflammation Index:WBC, neutrophil ratio and CRP of both integrated traditional Chinese medicine group and western medicine control group after treatments are all lower than before, there’re no statistical differences between two groups.(4)Immune Index:Complement C3and Complement C4after treatments are all lower than before, and there’re statistical differences. Complement C3and Complement C4of integrated traditional Chinese medicine group are better than ones of western medicine control group after treatments (Day14), and there’re statistical differences.(5)Nutritional Index:Prealbumin after treatments are all lower than before of two groups, there are obvious statistical differences. Chinese medicine group are better than ones of western medicine control group after treatments (Day14), and there’re statistical differences.(6)Blood Gas Analysis Index:Oxygen partial pressure, Carbon dioxide partial pressure and PH after treatments are all lower than before of two groups, there are obvious statistical differences. Carbon dioxide partial pressure of integrated traditional Chinese medicine group is better than the one of western medicine control group after treatments (Day14), and there’re statistical differences.(7)Fecal Flora Proportion Index:Fecal flora proportion after treatments is better than before, there are statistical differences. There’re no statistical differences in western medicine control group. Fecal flora proportion of integrated traditional Chinese medicine group is better than the one of western medicine control group after treatments (Day7and14), and there’re statistical differences.(8)Follow-up:FEV1%3-month after discharge is better than1-month after discharge, and there’re statistical differences. FEV1%of integrated traditional Chinese medicine group is better than the one of western medicine control group3-month after discharge, and there’re statistical differences. (9)Hospitalization:The hospitalization of integrated traditional Chinese medicine group is shorter than the one of western medicine control group, and there’re statistical differences.(10)Security:Safety indexes of both groups are good.Conclusion:(1)Integrated traditional Chinese medicine group shows no advantage compared with western medicine control group on fatality rate.(2)Integrated traditional Chinese medicine group is more effective than western medicine control group in relieving the integration of TCM symptoms and signs after treatments. Integrated traditional Chinese medicine group is more effective than western medicine control group in improving coughing, bloating and abnormal stools.(3)Integrated traditional Chinese medicine group shows no advantage compared with western medicine control group on improving the inflammation index WBC, neutrophil ratio and CRP.(4)Integrated traditional Chinese medicine group is more effective than western medicine control group in relieving Carbon dioxide partial pressure and improving carbon dioxide retention.(5)Integrated traditional Chinese medicine group is superiorin improvinggastrointestinalfunctionof patients than western medicine control group. Promoting the nutritionalstatus of patients by improving gastrointestinalfunction. Thereby to enhance the immunity of patients and shorten the hospitalization days.Integrated traditional Chinese medicine group is more effective than western medicine control group.(6)Integrated traditional Chinese medicine group is more effective than western medicine control group in improving long-time lung function.
