Clinical Study Of The Treatment For AHZ By Fire Needle Combined With Wai Thorn And Electro-acupuncture

Objectives:To observe the efficacy of fire needle combined with wai thorn and electro-acupuncture for the disease of AHZ in this clinical randomized controlled trial.Methods:66in all volunteers suffering from AHZ were divided into treatment group and control group randomly, and 63 allowed the whole progressing, only 3were exclused. Volunteers in treatment group were received heated needle combined with wai thorn and electro-acupuncture, once a day for 10 days, and control group were treated with valaciclovir hydrochloride taken orally,0.6g, twice a day for 10 days. The curative effect was evaluated by scale point including 3 aspects:symptoms, signs, and local skin lesion record with digital camera.Results:(l)The baseline of the treatment group and control group were almost alined (P>0.05).(2) The comprehensive effect score of heated needle group better than the Western medicine group, There was a significant difference (P0.05).(3) The two groups before and after each treatment showed significant differences among lesions of area (P0.05).(4) The time of 50%decrustation were not obvious difference in treatment group compared to control group (P>0.05). (5) VAS pain score of Heated needle group after treatment compared with the western medicine group there was a significant difference (P<0.05). (6) After treatment constant pain relief "30% of the time required for a significant difference (P<0.05). (7) The pain recurrence of the treatment group in 30 days was significantly lower than the control group (P<0.05).Conclusion:(1) Fire Acupuncture and around barbed needle can significantly improve the efficacy rates of herpes zoster comprehensive. (2) Fire Acupuncture and around barbed needle can significantly reduce the area of the skin lesions of herpes zoster.(3) Fire Acupuncture and around barbed needle method can reduce the constant pain relief of herpes zoster≧30%of the time required.(4) Fire needle puncture combined with electroacupuncture for treatment around 30 days of herpes zoster pain were significantly lower than the Western medicine group.(5) Fire needle puncture combined with electroacupuncture way around the security is good.(6) Fire needle puncture combined with electroacupuncture around simple, low cost, effective and suitable to promote the clinical application.
