Objective: Designing aerobic training programs for stage-1 hypertensives, comparing with other exercise programs , this study was to investigate the antihypertensive effect and mechanisms of the aeriobic training combined with circular resistance training,so as to provide experimental evidence for further researching on hypertension Exercise Prescription. Methods: forty stage-1 hypertensives were divided into 4 groups in random: 10 cases were treated by non-resistance aeriobic training(ET group), 10 cases by resistance /aeriobic training(ERT1 group, resistance training time make up about 33 per cent), 10 cases by resistance /aeriobic training(ERT2 group, resistance training time make up about 50 per cent), and 10 by circular resistance training(RT group). Before and after 8 weeks training, systolic blood pressure (SBP), diastolic blood pressure(DBP) and heart rate variability were assessed and compared. Results: SBP and DBP droped off significantly in four groups, among them, the decrease was more prominent in the ERT group than in the other two groups, meanwhile, there was no difference in the decrease between the ET group and the RT group. As for HRV, no difference in any HRV Parameters (including HF, high frequency, sympathetic tone;LF,low frequency, vagal tone; LF/HF, the ration, the sympatho-vagal balance) was observed in ERT1 and ERT2 groups before and after 8 weeks trainings; in ET group, HF increased,LF and LF/HF decreased significantly, contrary effects were observed in RT group. Conclusions: Aeriobic Training Combined with Circular Resistance Training was appropriate for 1-stage hypertensives, and ET and RT has different mechanisms to realize lowing blood pressure.
