Objective To sutdy blood fluid dynamic parameters of dual arteriae vertebralis (VAs) and arteriae carotis internas'(ICAs) which come from sleepiness dysfunction objects and sleepiness normal objects determined by Pittsburgh Sleep Quality Index. To reveal abnormal sleepiness'influence to human blood fluid dynamics, especially the VAs and ICAs. Explore the reason of abnormal sleepiness, and cite a brand new thought on treatment of abnormal sleepiness patients.Methods Choose 97 cases healthy people randomly as objects according to acceptable standard. With the full cooperation, we make PSQI questionnaire survey to them and once again 2 days later to confirm. Then put the 97 cases into normal team and abnormal team on PSQI aggregate score (normal: PSQI aggregate score≥7, abnormal: PSQI aggregate score<7; the higher aggregate score, the worse sleepiness). With ultrasonic diagonstic apparatus (Siemens Acuson Sequoia 512 ), we detect the blood fluid dynamic parameters of dual ICAs, VAs , including the maximum velocity, minimum velocity, resistance index, radius and intima-medium thickness of ICAs and the maximum velocity, minimum velocity, resistance index and radius of dual VAs,then process these data with statistic analysis software (SPSS 13.0). Results 1. PSQI aggregate scores and all 7 constituent scores of abnormal sleepinesses team and normal sleepinesses team have statistical differences, this result can confer it's trustable according to Liu's research. 2. The resistance index of both ICAs and VAs of sleepiness abnormal team are higher than the normal team,but the blood fluid the maximum velocity, minimum velocity, resistance index, radius and intima-medium thickness of ICAs and the maximum velocity, minimum velocity, resistance index and radius of dual VAs, in two teams have no statistical means. 3. PSQI aggregate scores are highly corelative to the resistance index of dual ICAs and VAs. According to the exist standard(P=0.05), the differences have statistical means.Conclusions 1.The carotid artery blood dynamic parameters can be the indicator of intraskull nervous function baesd on antonomy of Willis circle. 2.The carotid artery resistance index can be the objective evidance and proved in clinic. 3.The higher intraskull vascular bed resistance indexes may be the cause of sleep disorders but still need a mass of case reviews.
