| Objective: To understand the sleep status of tumor patients after surgery, and to analyze the risk factors of postoperative sleep disorder. Methods: Data of tumor patients undergoing elective surgery in affliated tumor hospital of Guangxi medical university from from August to October2020 were collected.1、assess the patient’s preoperative sleep status, sex, age, years of education, body mass index,ASA grading, radiotherapy, chemotherapy, history of hypertension, coronary heart disease, diabetes, medication history, and surgical history, laboratory tests,etc;2 、 anesthetic use, operation ethod, operation time, blood loss, whether inhalation anesthetic was used or not, whether vasoactive drugs were used;3、the use of analgesia pump and analgesic drugs were recorded. The patients were followed up on day 1,4 and 7 after operation for VAS(visual analogue scale)scores and knowledge of the patient’s condition, any postoperative complications(including nausea and vomiting, fever, abdominal distension, infection, abnormal mental status, second operation,etc.).Pittsburgh sleep quality index(PSQI)was used to evaluate the sleep status of the patients on the 7th day after operation.Univariate and multivariate Logistic regression were used to analyze the risk factors of postoperative sleep disturbance in patients with tumor. Results: A total of 133 patients completed the post-operative interview and sleep evaluation,of which 87 patients had sleep disorder and 46 patients had no sleep disorder, the incidence was 65.4%.Univariate analysis showed that there were significant differences in BMI,preoperative sleep disturbance,,and VAS scores at 1,4 and 7 days after operation between the two groups(p < 0.05),which was related to postoperative sleep disturbance in patients with tumor.Multivariate Logistic regression analysis showed that the presence of preoperative sleep disturbance was an independent risk factor for postoperative sleep disturbance in tumor patients(p < 0.05).Conclusion: Postoperative sleep disturbance was common in 65.4% of patients with tumor.Preoperative sleep disorder is an independent risk factor for postoperative sleep disorder in cancer patients, and corresponding measures should be taken to improve the sleep quality of postoperative for tumor patient. |
