| ã€Background】Thyroid cancer is one of the most common endocrine cancers.The incident of thyroid cancer is on the rise in recent years, TC merging NG high probability, there are reported in the literature up to 81%.Nodular goiter background interference detection of thyroid cancer is the difficulties encountered by clinicians. Compared to other solid tumors, the tumor markers of thyroid cancer are still not high of the sensitivity and specificity, the purpose of this study by immunohistochemistry to detect the expression of Livin, caspase-3, Gal-3 in PTC concurred with NG ,compared with the nodular goiter and normal thyroid cells, the differential expression of these proteins to analyze its expression meaning.ã€Methods】Select the hospital pathology 2006-2009 nodular goiter with thyroid papillary carcinoma archived wax blocks of 38 cases, according to lymph node metastasis were divided into two subgroups. With papillary thyroid carcinoma adjacent nodular goiter served as controls. Select the saved over the same period a simple nodular goiter (15 cases) and normal thyroid tissue adjacent to tumors (15 cases) as a control group. Immunohistochemistry (Elivision two-step), were used to detect Gal-3, Livin, and Caspase-3 in the four kinds of thyroid tissue, statistical analysis of count data using chi-square test and Fisher exact test.Correlation analysis using Spearman rank correlation analysis.ã€Results】⒈Livin in papillary thyroid carcinoma rate was higher in 38 patients with positive expression in 24 cases, the positive rate 63.2%, significantly higher than adjacent nodular goiter and control group, the difference was significant, P<0.01. â’‰Caspase-3 in papillary thyroid carcinoma rate is low, only 38 cases of positive expression in 11 cases, the positive rate of 28.9%, significantly lower than adjacent nodular goiter and control group, the difference was significant, P<0.01.â’Šgalectin-3 in papillary thyroid carcinoma and a high rate of 38 cases in 32 cases of positive expression, the positive rate of 84.2%, significantly higher than adjacent nodular goiter and control group, the difference was significant, P<0.01â’‹Livin in the lymph node metastasis-positive rate was significantly higher than negative group, the difference was significant, and Caspase-3, Gal-3 expression and lymph node metastasis.â’Œadjacent nodular goiter, compared with two control groups, three kinds of protein expression did not differ significantly.ã€Conclusions】⒈immunohistochemistry results showed that Livin, Gal-3 in papillary thyroid carcinoma showed a high expression of nodular goiter with low expression in normal thyroid tissue did not express. caspase3 papillary thyroid carcinoma showed low expression. Three kinds of indicators in combination on the background of nodular goiter detection of significant papillary thyroid carcinoma.â’‰in papillary thyroid carcinoma Livin, Caspase-3 expression was negatively correlated. Tip of apoptosis imbalance in papillary thyroid carcinoma play an important role. 3. In Livin expression in papillary thyroid carcinoma with lymph node metastasis. PTC lymph node metastasis can be used as potential indicators. 4. This study showed that adjacent nodular goiter, compared with two control groups, three kinds of protein expression did not differ significantly. So still can not believe that is precancerous lesions of nodular goiter. |
