A Clinical Study On Treating Pain Of Lumbar Intervertebral Disc Herniation (Hygro-arthralgia Spasm)

Objective Through conducts the investigation and study to the lumbar disc herniation patient's clinical material, Preliminary appraisal the curative effect of treating pain of Lumbar Intervertebral Disc Herniation(hygro-arthralgia spasm) with Jianbu Chushi Decoction.,and to provide the objective clinical guide for diagnosing and Treating the corresponding diseases, predecting the developing of the diseases, taking the corresponding medical treatment to the diseases and expanding the thought of treatment in Chinese traditional medicine.Methods Chose 60 examples randomly in Guangzhou traditional Chinese medicine university affiliated orthopedics hospital during December 2008 to December 2009. The 60 cases were devided into 2 groups.Traditional Chinese medicine Treating group and the Western medicine Treating group.The Traditional Chinese medicine Treating group take orally the traditional Chinese medicine Jianbu Chushi Decoction and coordinate pelvis hauling treatment, and the Western medicine Treating group take orally the Celecoxib Capsules and coordinate pelvis hauling treatment, disease. Fore-and-after Treatment 1 week and 2 weeks, and Stop treatment for 2 weeks, record the datas about JOA, VAS, PAR, and period. Then get the conclusion by using the statistic software SPSS13.0 to study the datas.Results After compareing the two gropes from JOA and VAS, there are significant differences(according to the statistical analysis, P<0.05), after the treatment has been made more significant effect; After comparing we find that the Traditional Chinese medicine Treating group signs of improvement in symptoms than the Western medicine Treating group(according to the statistical analysis, P<0.05); in the Traditional Chinese medicine Treating grope:18examples show good results,11 examples change for the better,lexamples are invalid, the total effectiveness is 96.7%; In the Western medicine Treating grope:10 examplesshow good results,11 examples change for the better,9 examples are invalid, the total effectiveness is 86.7 %. The obviously leads and the total effectiveness of the two gropes are significance difference(according to the statistical analysis, P<0.05).Conclusions Jianbu Chushi Decoction has no adverse effect. It is a safe and effective druggery on the treatment of lumbar intervertebral disc hemiation.
