ObjectiveTo discuss the relationship between serum uric acid level and coronary heart disease(CHD) type, coronary artery lesion severity, and to evaluate whether serum uric acid is an independent risk factor of CHD or not.Methods365 cases with coronary angiography hospitalized in the First Hospital of China Medieal University cardiologist from October,2009 to February,2010 were collected.The medical history of gender, age, smoking, body mass index(BMI), laboratory results of uric acid, plasma glueose, lipid, clinical indicators of coronar artery lesion severity, echocardiography results during hospitalization of all the patients were recorded.According to the results of coronary angiography,365 cases were divided into CHD group(265 cases) and non-CHD group(100 cases).Then compared the difference of the clinical indicator between the two groups. CHD group was divided inio SAP, UAP and AMI subgroup according to the type of CHD and divided into the single-vessel, double-vessel and multiple-vessel subgroup according to the count of vascular lesions.And then serum uric acid level was compared among three subgroups, respectively. According to integration of Gensini and SYNTAX, to evaluate correlation between serum uric acid and coronary artery lesion severity. With binary logistic regression analysis to CHD, to evaluate whether serum uric acid is an independent risk factor of CHD or not.Results1.Serum uric acid level in CHD group was significantly higher than non-CHD group[(311.13±80.93)umol/L vs (269.61±85.48)umol/L], P<0.05.2.The level of serum uric acid in SAP, UAP and AMI subgroup was respcetively (289.58±70.94)umol/L, (319.38±88.2)umol/L, (313.27±76.72)umol/L. The level of serum uric acid in three subgroup was significantly higher than non-CHD(269.61±85.48)umol/L, P<0.0I.3.The level of serum uric acid was respectively(317.31±105.24)umol/L,(311.64±68.38)umol/L,(307.24±73.10)umol/L in single-vessel, double-vessel and multiple-vessel subgroup.And the difference was not significant, P>0.05.4.The level of serum uric acid was respectively(317.70±101.36)umol/L (308.44±71.05)umol/L in high integration of Gensini and low integration of Gensini group.The difference was not significant, P>0.05.5.The level of serum uric acid was respectively(314.53±66.47)umol/L, (312.87±80.42)umol/L, (316.29±87.25)umol/L in high integration of SYNTAX, medium integration of SYNTAX and low integration of SYNTAX group.The difference was not significant, P>0.05.6.With binary logistic regression analysis to CHD, smoking, age and fasting plasma glueose (FPG) can be taken as an independen trisk factor of CHD, and serum uric acid can not be taken as an independen trisk factor of CHD.ConclusionSerum uric acid level is closely related to the occurrence, development of coronary heart disease,and is not related to the coronary artery lesion severity.lt can be used for finding timely and earlier the dangerous crowd of CHD in the clinical.
