Expression Of ER,PR And C-erbB2 Between The Pre-menopausal And Post-menopausal Women With Breast Cancer

Objective:To study the expression of ER,PR and C-erbB2 between the Pre-menopausal and Post-menopausal women with breast cancer.Methods:The expression of ER,PR and C-erbB2 in 102 Pre-menopausal women and 98 Postmenopausal women with breast cancer were studied by S-P immunohistochemistry,with its relation with 5-year disease - free survival(DFS).Results:The positive rate of ER,PR and C-erbB2 in 102 Pre-menopausal women were 40.20%(41/61),38.24%(39/63),51.96%(53/49).The positive rate of ER,PR and C-erbB2 in 98 Post-menopausal women were 55.10%(54/44),54.08% (53/45),35.71%(35/63).The total positive rate of ER was 47.5%.The total positive rate of PR was 46%.The total positive rate of C-erbB2 was 44%.The positive rate of C-erbB2 was higher in the Pre-menopausal group and the difference had a statistic significance(P＜0.05).The positive rate of ER,PR were lower in the Pre-menopausal group and the difference had a statistic significance(P＜0.05).In the people whose ER were positive,the positive rate of C-erbB2 was 35.79%.In the people whose ER were negative,the positive rate of C-erbB2 was 51.43%.So we can see that there is a negative correlation between C-erbB2 and ER(P＜0.05).The 5-year DFS of C-erbB2 positively in the Pre-menopausal group was 62.26%.The 5-year DFS of C-erbB2 negatively in the Pre-menopausal group was 87.76%.The 5-year DFS of C-erbB2 positively in the Postmenopausal group was 82.86%.The 5-year DFS of C-erbB2 negatively in the Postmenopausal group was 98.41%.The 5-year DFS of C-erbB2 positively in the Pre-menopausal group was lower than C-erbB2 positively in the Postmenopausal group.The 5-year DFS of C-erbB2 negatively in the Pre-menopausal group was lower than C-erbB2 negatively in the Postmenopausal group(P＜0.05).The 5-year DFS of ER positively in the Pre-menopausal group was 85.37%.The 5-year DFS of ER negatively in the Pre-menopausal group was 67.21%. The 5-year DFS of ER positively in the Postmenopausal group was 98.15%.The 5-year DFS of ER negatively in the Postmenopausal group was 86.36%.The 5-year DFS of ER positively in the Pre-menopausal group was lower than ER positively in the Postmenopausal group.The 5-year DFS of ER negatively in the Pre-menopausal group was lower than ER negatively in the Postmenopausal group(P＜0.05).The 5-year DFS of PR positively in the Pre-menopausal group was 87.18%.The 5-year DFS of PR negatively in the Pre-menopausal group was 66.67%.The 5-year DFS of PR positively in the Postmenopausal group was 98.11%.The 5-year DFS of PR negatively in the Postmenopausal group was 86.67%.The 5-year DFS of PR positively in the Pre-menopausal group was lower than PR positively in the Postmenopausal group.The 5-year DFS of PR negatively in the Pre-menopausal group was lower than PR negatively in the Postmenopausal group(P＜0.05).The 5-year DFS of Pre-menopausal group was 74.51%.The 5-year DFS of Postmenopausal group was 92.86%.The 5-year DFS of the Pre-menopausal group was lower than Postmenopausal group and the difference had great statistic significance(P＜0.001).Conclusion:The positive rate of C-erbB2 was higher in Pre-menopausal women. The positive rate of ER,PR were lower in Pre-menopausal women.The 5-year DFS were lower in Pre-menopausal women.The prognosis of Pre-menopausal women was poor.There is a negative correlation between C-erbB2 and ER.The 5-year DFS of C-erbB2 positively in the Pre-menopausal group was lower than C-erbB2 positively in the Postmenopausal group.The 5-year DFS of C-erbB2 negatively in the Pre-menopausal group was lower than C-erbB2 positively in the Postmenopausal group.The 5-year DFS of ER positively in the Pre-menopausal group was lower than ER positively in the Postmenopausal group.The 5-year DFS of ER negatively in the Pre-menopausal group was lower than ER positively in the Postmenopausal group.C-erbB2 and ER,PR are important parameters on prognosis of breast cancer,so do the Menstruation.
