| Objective: With the improvement of socio-economic level, people's health needs for Disease Control and Prevention in the past has developed to the longevity, health, nutrition, as well as reasonable to maintain a good psychological state and social ability [1].Health services of Elderly population will focus on health promotion, improve the quality of life, therefore ,it is necessary to evaluate the older persons quality of life objectly and accurately ,and analysis of influencing factors .This study aimed at understanding the demand and utilization of health services of elderly population in Chongqing, and based on the the data to evaluate the quality of life in older age groups and explore the main influencing factors,and to provide objective and scientific recommendations for the strategies and measures to establish and improve the quality of life of older persons.Methods: In this study, 60-year-old and above older persons were chosen from the Fourth National Health Services Survey-Family Health questionnaires, rank sum test and Logistic regression were used to analysis the demand and utilization of health services and the status of quality of life of elderly population in Chongqing, to explore the main influencing factors of quality of life.Results: 1.in older age groups, two -week prevalence and chronic disease prevalence are 44.37 and 44.28% respectively. Two-week attendance rate and non-attendance rate are 39.83% and 40.76 % respectively. hospitalization rate and non-hospitalized rate are 14.35% percent, 46.74% respectively. Living in the top three chronic diseases are high blood pressure and chronic bronchitis and rheumatism, its prevalence are 17.90%and 4.75% and 3.85% respectively.2.the quality of life of the elderly is in middle-level above, average is 81.67 points;but the scores of physiological field is low, only 57.42 points. Logistic regression analysis of quality of life showed that: the closely related factors of quality of life are age, whether or not the spouse, exercise, the two-week illness, chronic diseases, whether poor or low households, family annual per capita income in urban and rural areas; in which two weeks of illness, chronic disease, family per capita income, physical activity are the most important relevant factors, the OR values were 3.886,2.774,0.701,0.825 respectively.3. Logistic regression analysis in the areas of quality of life showed that: the influencing factors of physiological field are closely related to age, sex, family income per capita; the influencing factors of social relations field is the urban and rural areas. the main relevant factors of psychological influence and independence are two-week illness, chronic disease, exercise situation; and the main relevant factors of environment field are educational level, family per capita income, whether or not the spouse.Conclusion: 1. the demand and utilization levels of health services of elderly population in Chongqing are high; the elderly were used to choose primary health care institutions with short distance, good quality and low prices for treatment, has developed basically a medical treatment channels. "minor illnesses in the community, serious illness into the hospital"2.rural and poverty-stricken areas is the focus of health workers ,to improve the quality of life in the elderly should be based on senior citizens, persons without a spouse, the sick, poor or low households, low-income people as a priority; At the same time,the elderly should be promoted healthy lifestyle behavior, to encourage the elderly to take part in more physical exercise and so on,which will improve the health and quality of life and promote physical and mental health.3.the conclusions of this study are basically consistent with the literature at home and abroad, therefore,it is feasible to evaluate the quality of life of the elderly using a simplified evaluation of quality of life entries of health services Survey - family health questionnaires. |
