Runmuling Atomization Treatment Clinical Study Of Dry Eye

Objective: Runmuling atomization of the effectiveness of the treatment of dry eye to make an objective evaluation. Methods: Case source of Chinese medicine hospital Eye Center of Jiangsu Province in May 2008 - in December 2008 in the outpatients, in line with the diagnostic criteria of dry eye; the age of 18-70 years of age; have been treated with other drugs, but drug 2 weeks; informed consent, to meet the above conditions can be selected.This experiment to take control of clinical research methods. Divided into two groups: Runmuling atomization agent group head, water for injection group. Will Runmuling agent group and the injection of atomized water group contrast, corneal staining, tear film break-up time, tear flow, the basis of subjective symptoms score and the secretion of observation, then the information in each group before and after treatment application SPSS16.0 Statistical Analysis System statistical analysis to compare the efficacy of the two groups.Statistical hypothesis testing using the paired T test data and one-way ANOVA, test statistic is given and its corresponding P value. P <0.05, statistical significance. Results: The statistics show that the treatment group in the treatment of dry eye in the tear film break-up time, tear flow, the basis of tear secretion, was compared before and after treatment P <0.05, statistical differences in corneal staining before and after treatment comparison P> 0.05, corneal staining results show that the improvement was not obvious.Subjective symptom score before and after treatment compared to treatment group in addition to dry mouth, joint pain P> 0.05, no significant difference, more than P <0.05, difference statistically. The treatment group compared with the control group, in improving the jealous, photophobia, dry, depending on fatigue, foreign body sensation have a significant difference, the improvement of dry mouth, joint pain was no statistical difference.Subjective symptom score of the test results showed that: the clinical symptoms of dry eye after treatment, the treatment group and 72% of patients improved, 39.1% for the control group. Treatment group showed that the improvement of subjective symptoms than the control group. Conclusion: Local administration of Chinese medicine is nebulized feasible; Runmuling atomization is an effective treatment of dry eye.
