Cognitive Therapy In Treatment Of Patients With Post-stroke Depression

Cerebral vascular accident can lesd patient to disorder the activity of daily livingand other functions for example:recognitive functions,speech function,motor function.The patient easy to have depression and pessimism ,lose the heart about rehabilitation management and the living .Meanwhile they cannot well combination with rehabilitation therapist and reduced the rehabilitation.Cognitive therpy treatment is the generic name of a lot of therapeutic methods.this methode mphasiz the importance about Cognition in psychologicaland behavior,rectify the unreasonable cognition,to help patient establish actual and correct cognition.This study to explore the effects of cognitive therpy treatment on post-stroke depression and daily living ability.and also to appeal more physician can reconstruction post-stroke depression,the earlier diagnosis the earlier therapeutics;.This study took the method that among 60 patients with post-stroke depression. They were divided into cognitive Therpy trentment group(30cases) and routine trentment group(30cases).All the cases were evaluated according tu the HAMD score and ADL(BI) before trentment,and 4 weeks after treatment.Afteer four weeks treatment the degree of deoression and anxiety reduced significantly in two groups(P <0.05).Both groups has significant improvement in daily living ability(P<0.05).Furthermore the theraptutic effect in Cognitive Therapy in treatment was better(P <0.05)We can Conclued that Cognitive Therapy trentment is in favor of not only controlling the post-stroke depression effectively,but also improving the daily living ability.
