| Interlocking intramedullary nail is the fixation method that commonly used in clinical treatment of femoral shaft fracture.It is within the central-type splint fixed,in line with the fixed principles of biomechanics,been widely used.In recent year- s,many scholars at home and abroad report that,during the treatment of femoral shaft fractures using Interlocking intrame- dullary nail,a variety of reasons cause surgical complications and failure of surgery.This article by searching Chinese Biomedical Literature Database (CBM),CNKI,PUBMED and others pecialized databa -ses,to collect a large number of relevant documents,and sum -mary and analysis,combined with my clinical,summarized the reasons for failure to carry out and sum up to discuss the possible preventive and remedial measures to provide reference for clinical work.Summary were as follows: Inaccurate indication selection and operation errors are important reasons for the failure of surgery;Inappropriate timing of surgery,bad fracture restoration, improper post-processing,wrong postoperative functional exerc- ise and so on will increase the incidence of surgical complicati- ons.
